The upcoming third-person action-adventure game Just Cause 3, in development by Avalanche Studios, has officially revealed its finalized PC specifications on Steam. Just Cause 3 is an environment-wide destruction-oriented game, allowing players to wreak havoc across a map full of unique landmarks stretching up to 400 square miles.
The game's name itself is a clever play on words — is the cause "just" or is it just "'cause"? Either way, publishers Square Enix have confirmed the release date for all platforms to be December 1st, 2015 — just a week away from the article's publication date. Let's take a look at whether your PC can handle Rico's explosive return.
Square Enix boosted their launch publicity with a stunning 4K trailer released last week. The trailer features massive landmark detonations, aerial attacks, train chases and bombards, missile drops, and much more. It perfectly captures what awaits players with the game's tagline: "Set The World On Fire".
Square Enix announced the Collector's Edition on March 12, 2015, hosting a poll to allow players to vote for their favorite items to include in the edition. The results were announced on July 9, 2015, confirming a grappling hook, weaponized vehicle pack content, a poster of Medici, and an artbook.
Avalanche and Square Enix have also organized a contest for all Day One edition buyers of the game. Players are tasked with scoring chaos points to dominate the leaderboard, with winners assured prizes of up to USD $50,000 in hard cash or even a real-life island. Here's the official E3 trailer of Just Cause 3 from the Square Enix press conference.
