The most awaited PC game of the summer Batman: Arkham Knight has taken a toll of its fans with its glitchy launch which ultimately led to the suspension of its sales on Steam. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment had made this announcement in a statement on the official Warner Bros. Games community forums.

The following report has been posted by the publisher after a plethora of negative user reviews on Steam regarding poor technical performance for the PC version:

We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.

Thank you to those players who have already given valuable feedback. We are continuously monitoring all threads posted in the Official Batman: Arkham Knight Community and Steam forums, as well as any issues logged with our Customer Support. If you purchased your copy of the game and are not satisfied with your experience, then we ask for your patience while these issues are resolved. The sales of PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is at a standstill till further announcements by Warner Bros. Though the release date for the game still shows June 23rd but the links for customer purchase has been terminated. The release date for the Linux, Mac and SteamOS versions remained as "fall 2015".
